Where great minds think alike.
From classrooms, auditoriums, and gymnasiums to student unions, we build innovative educational facilities requiring wide-open design and flexibility in the use of square footage.
Built to last a lifetime, the domes provide:
- Open floor plans that can be customized for various uses in a community
- Protection from hurricane and tornado winds exceeding 250 mph
- Construction that meets LEED standards and features the latest green technologies; our team also constructs architectural domes with 90 percent local materials
- Substantial savings compared with the cost of conventional construction
All Dome Technology customers will experience the following benefits, regardless of project type:
Our domes are constructed with two to three inches of insulating polyurethane foam, fostering more constant conditions inside the structure and resulting in lower heating and cooling costs.
Steel-reinforced concrete domes are built to last. Our team recommends regular inspections to ensure the PVC airform is protecting the structure, but that’s usually all the upkeep required for a dome.
Made mostly of concrete and steel, domes require significantly fewer building materials versus traditional construction. That composition, coupled with near indestructability, means these structures will last and last—good for customers and good for communities of the future.
