RMDBS says goodbye to founding boardmember

The Rocky Mountain Dry Bulk Summit board is saying goodbye to one of its members.

Michael Ferguson, Boral Vice President Capital Projects, retired in February and will no longer serve on the RMDBS board. Boral Construction Materials is among the largest distributors of fly ash in the United States.

Ferguson was instrumental in launching RMDBS along with Dome Technology CEO Bradley Bateman, BRUKS Siwertell president and CEO Steve Bennett, and retired Louis Dreyfus president North America Steve Campbell.

“Mike was very instrumental in the development and implementation of the RMDBS, and his presence in the industry will be greatly missed,” Bateman said.

RMDBS was created as a platform for dry-bulk industry leaders to grow individually and to give back. Those who attend the annual summit have the chance to network across various business lines and become better informed about changes in the market while sharing insights with peers for navigating challenges today and in the future. This exclusive summit is held in the scenic backcountry of the Rocky Mountains and is an invitation-only event.
