Steel-Reinforced Concrete Application

Strength to support loads from inside and out

Our concrete domes are constructed using an air-inflated membrane and the shotcrete method to place concrete. Multiple applications of concrete and reinforcing steel rebar are applied until the necessary design thickness is achieved and the dome is superior in its strength.

When completed, the dome is capable of bearing greater loads than any other structure of similar capacity and cost.

Strongest structure in the world

With each project carefully completed to engineer specifications, the result is a precise dome, nature’s perfectly strong shape. The dome’s double curvature requires no interior supports or beams and provides excellent strength from every direction, including at the apex, a place many bulk-storage domes need extra support for headhouses and conveyor systems.

Built to last

Protected from water and extreme temperature fluctuations, the concrete structure has the potential to last centuries.
