At the end of June, we brought together our employees, families, customers, partners, and friends to celebrate an important milestone: 50 years of Dome Technology.

Since 1976, Dome Technology has grown from a small family business into a global leader in the design and construction of concrete dome storage and specialty structures. While the industry and technology have evolved over the years, our commitment to solving complex storage challenges and building structures that last has remained the same.

One of the most meaningful parts of the celebration was having Barry South, Dome Technology’s founder, there to celebrate with us. Barry started the company 50 years ago, and seeing him surrounded by the people who continue to carry his vision forward was a very special moment.

The celebration also came shortly after the passing of Barry’s wife, Elinor. Her loss was deeply felt by our team, and we were grateful to have Barry with us as we celebrated this milestone and reflected on the many people who have helped shape Dome Technology over the years.

The anniversary celebration was an opportunity to look back at where we started, recognize the people who helped build the company, and look ahead to what’s next. We shared stories from our history, connected with team members and their families, and celebrated the customers and partners who have been part of our journey.

A milestone like 50 years is only possible because of the people behind it. From the employees who bring expertise and dedication to every project, to the customers and partners who trust us with their challenges, we are grateful for everyone who has played a role in the Dome Technology story.

Fifty years is something worth celebrating, but we’re even more excited about what comes next.
