Jason Miller Joins Dome Technology as vp of Marketing
Idaho Falls, ID — Dome Technology has hired Jason M. Miller to act as Vice President of Marketing.
“Jason brings great experience, knowledge and leadership to the company,” Dome Technology CEO Bradley Bateman said. “We are very excited to have Jason be part of the company and to help Dome Technology reach its objectives.”
For the past decade Miller has worked in business marketing and brand management. Most recently his role in marketing operations for an international consumer-goods company required him to direct all targeted promotion initiatives for the company and to lead the monthly email and publication communications for the marketing department. In addition Miller oversaw the corporation’s global convention with more than 7,000 attendees as well as the company’s retail operations throughout North America, including the associated distribution facilities.
Dome Technology’s product and possibilities were two major reasons Miller joined the company. “The potential is just enormous. I look at what domes can do for the storage industry, and I see a great opportunity to help customers understand how our product can help fulfill their needs,” he said. “The product’s potential combined with the company’s first-rate leadership team made the decision to join Dome Technology an easy one.”
Miller brings to the leadership team skills in accounting, finance, relationship fostering, event planning and photography. One of his goals is to improve the company’s target marketing—“building relationships with existing clients and future clients (and) making sure that we’re reaching the right people at the right time,” he said.
Accepting this leadership role has been a full-circle accomplishment for Miller, who grew up close to Dome Technology’s headquarters in Idaho Falls, Idaho. While attending college, Miller worked as a laborer on dome construction crews in Payson, Arizona, and Galena Park, Texas—experience he said will help him relate with project managers and field crews.
Miller graduated from University of Utah in 2000 with bachelor degrees in finance and accounting. He and his wife Torrie have been married nearly 20 years and have four children.
